Echomachine was intended to be an instrumental, but when I got a lyrical melody in my head one day I realized it would be perfect for that title. It came together pretty quickly. Parts of it are inspired by an old, unreleased Glass song called Feel, but it's definitely not a direct copy.
lyrics
I will make it through my destiny
I am who controls my destiny
I will tell the tale of my destiny
I am who will reach my destiny
Bouncing off the walls, Echomachine
Killing everything, Echomachine
Breaking through the walls, Echomachine
Deafaning everything, Echomachine
You will not control my destiny
You will answer to my destiny
You cannot control my destiny
You and I, entwined, my destiny
Retreating to the dune, Echomachine
Protected in my shell, Echomachine
To find the core inside, Echomachine
Into the depths of Hell, Echomachine
I'd write something to entice you but instead I'm just going to tell you it's a band called "You Bred Raptors?" and if that doesn't make you want to listen to it then you can get the fuck out. Onslaught Six
I had an elaborate parody of Patrick Bateman's "Huey Lewis and The News" bit from American Psycho here, but it's too big to fit the recommendation box. So...It's Perturbator. Go get it. Onslaught Six
Female-fronted synthwave, retro electro, whatever you call it. I'm not going to lie: I'm biased because this is a side project of mine. That shouldn't stop you from listening to it. Onslaught Six
Dark electronic music gets warped and clobbered on the latest from Author & Punisher. Brooding, cutting, and claustrophobic. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 18, 2017
