The original short story focuses a lot on Johnny's shotgun; it's a weapon he has with him from the very beginning until the final scenes. I thought it'd be appropriate to do a remix with a repeated shotgun-cocking sample. I also wanted to do a more synth-focused mix with most (or all) of the guitar cut out and replaced with synth lines and arpeggios, and lots of dead space--an influence was Ruiner (Version) from NIN's Further Down The Spiral.
Of the mixes I did, this one is the one I'm least sure on at the time of uploading, and I may revise it later on...if my computer cooperates.

Onslaught Six - remixin' and remasterin'
I'd write something to entice you but instead I'm just going to tell you it's a band called "You Bred Raptors?" and if that doesn't make you want to listen to it then you can get the fuck out. Onslaught Six
I had an elaborate parody of Patrick Bateman's "Huey Lewis and The News" bit from American Psycho here, but it's too big to fit the recommendation box. So...It's Perturbator. Go get it. Onslaught Six
Female-fronted synthwave, retro electro, whatever you call it. I'm not going to lie: I'm biased because this is a side project of mine. That shouldn't stop you from listening to it. Onslaught Six

Neo-80s flair, Castlevania love, smooth lyrics and performance, and holy moley A CASSETTE TAPE. AAAA I still play music through a tape deck in my beat up old car. It's gonna be so baller to listen to Wicked Child and Vampire Killer ON AN ACTUAL TAPE. Goddamn, my heart's on fire. Veelind
